How we handle the information you share with us. Last updated October 2026.
The Builders Resource Center, a division of Corcoran Sawyer Smith ("BRC," "we," "us"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through brcnj.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you submit a form on this site, such as a contact, valuation, feasibility, waitlist, showing, or agent inquiry, we collect the details you provide. That may include your name, email address, phone number, the property or parcel address you ask about, and any message or notes you add. We may also collect basic technical information your browser sends automatically, such as general location and the pages you view.
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, to give you the valuation, feasibility read, or service you requested, to connect you with the right member of our team, and to follow up about your real estate needs. We do not sell your personal information.
Form submissions on this site are processed and stored through our website host and are delivered to us by email so a team member can respond. We may share your information with Corcoran Sawyer Smith and with trusted service providers only as needed to respond to you and deliver the services you request, and with others when you direct us to or when required by law. Landowner details are never shared with builders without your permission.
We send text messages only to people who have agreed to receive them, for example by checking the texting box on an open house sign-in sheet or on one of our website forms, or by telling a member of our team that we may text them. Agreeing to texts is never required to request information, sign in or work with us. Messages are about your property, homes you asked about, appointments and similar real estate topics from Corcoran Sawyer Smith x Builders Resource Center. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message; you will receive one message confirming that you are unsubscribed and no further texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (908) 603-1100 or info@brcnj.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Information collected for text messaging is used only to send the messages you agreed to and is shared only with the service providers that deliver those messages for us.
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, such as which pages are viewed and where visitors come from, and advertising measurement tools from Google (Google Ads) and Meta (the Meta pixel and the Meta Conversions API) to see which of our ads lead to requests and to show relevant ads on those platforms. These tools set cookies and collect information such as pages viewed, general location, device or browser type, and the ad you clicked. They load when you visit the site; a notice appears on your first visit. If you choose Do not share my info in that notice, or through the link at the bottom of every page, the tools are turned off for that browser and no advertising cookies are set. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's tool at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and manage ad preferences at facebook.com/ads/preferences and adssettings.google.com.
When you submit a form, we may send Google and Meta a record that a request happened, together with a scrambled (hashed) version of the email address, phone number and name you entered, the page it happened on and the ad click, so each platform can match it to the ad that brought you here. The platforms cannot read the hashed values as text. We do this for measurement; we do not sell your personal information, and we do not give these platforms your request details, your property address or your notes. Under some state privacy laws this measurement sharing may count as targeted advertising; the Do not share my info choice stops it in that browser, and you can ask us to stop it for your records by emailing us (see Your choices below).
We also count page visits with our own simple counter that uses no cookies and records only the page, how you arrived (for example a search engine or an ad), and the type of device, as daily totals; it does not identify you. On our home value request forms, what you type (your property address, name, phone number and email) is saved as you fill in each field, even before you press submit, so your request is not lost if you leave the page. We may call or email you once about that property; we do not send text messages unless you submit the form. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
We keep the information you send for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and recordkeeping obligations, and we take reasonable steps to protect it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have shared with us, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing iguberuk@corcoranss.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, and we will honor those rights as required.
